Although it may not be apparent, Microsoft has totally reimagined the Power BI platform and user experience for data professionals, business analysts and business users. In the latest release, we added a new unified desktop authoring app for business analysts called Power BI Designer, more data visualizations, additional popular data sources like Salesforce, Marketo and Analysis Services, dashboard and report templates, direct connectivity to on-premise data sources, a native mobile BI app for iPad and other top secret enhancements that we can dive into by the time of this session.
